Deidre Bronner, Principal

ARAD Solo Seal

Holder of the Solo Seal, the highest examination awarded by The Royal Academy of Dance. In Australia, she studied in Newcastle with Tessa Maunder OAM.

After winning three scholarships in one year, one being at the City of Sydney Eisteddfod, Deidre trained at the Royal Ballet School in London, graduating into Theatre class in her second term. She then danced for three seasons with the Royal Ballet Company and the Royal Opera Ballet at Covent Garden. During this time Deidre also studied in Paris under the Ballet Master of Paris Opera Ballet.

On returning to Australia, Deidre taught for 8 years at several Sydney studios and for the past 35 years as head of her own school. Deidre has also been appointed adjudicator at many eisteddfods including Bankstown, Blacktown, Newcastle, Grafton, Lismore and Inverell. In 2012 Deidre returned to London, Italy and France studying Ballet and dance forms.

Kim Traynor, Classical

A professional dancer with Deutsche Oper Am Rheine, Düsseldorf and The Australian Ballet Company. Kim trained in Australia and London and has been teaching for many years. Kim has also been a Lecturer of Classical Dance at the Victorian College of Arts. Kim will be taking a special coaching class for talented students at a major level. Kim also teachers the Vaganova Syllabus when there are full time students.

Alana began dancing at the age of 3, studying ballet, jazz, contemporary and national character at the Deidre Bronner School of Ballet. She completed Pre-Primary to Advanced II with distinction. She won many trophies and scholarships including medals at the City of Sydney. After 2 years full time ballet in Sydney from 1999-2001, Alana toured Europe where she took part in classes at prestigious schools all over Europe. Alana was accepted into the Academie de Tanz, Manheim Germany advancing straight into the second year where she studied full time for one year. Upon her return to Australia Alana completed a degree in exercise Science and the Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet teaching, Alana is now fully dedicating her knowledge to educating students.

Alana Mendoza, Contemporary

Caroline began her ballet training at 4 years of age at the Deidre Bronner School of Ballet in Sydney learning ballet, contemporary and national character with Rita Dubovsky and competed in many eisteddfods and competitions including Isobel Anderson, S.O.D.A and was a finalist in The Robert and Elizabeth Albert Junior Ballet Scholarship. After studying full time Caroline passed her Advanced II and Solo Seal and was a semi finalist at the Genee International. Caroline studied music history, dance history and anatomy at Schweizerische Ballettberufsschule (Tanz Akademie Zürich) where she received a diploma in dance. Caroline relocated to London and worked as a dancer in the cruise line industry for 4 years. Since returning to Australia in 2009 Caroline has completed the Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching and is currently teaching in various dance schools across Sydney.

Lacinda Fisk, Jazz

Lacinda Fisk has trained since the age of 3 in all styles of Dance - including completing her RAD Ballet Exams up till Advanced 2 and gaining Distinctions. 

She trained under the expertise of Lisa Bowmer, Leanne Davis, Christine Keith and Angelique Barry at Dance Kinetic School Of Performing Arts for 15 Years and at the age of 20 is now completing her Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts at the Number 1 Performing Arts School in Australia - ED5 International.

Lacinda has performed extensively throughout her dance career thus far with some of her greatest experiences including: Alannah Haines Australiasian Awards NZ, 2012 University of Western Sydney Talent Development Scholarship Winner, Engadine Musical Society's productions of  'Legally Blonde the Musica" and Grease, the Regals Musical Society 'Hairspray', a  National Tour of 'The Fairies - Christmas Magic Concert' and Elvis Express Train Departure Gig.

Lacinda's dream is to be a part of Professional Musical Theatre productions both Nationally and Internationally - but in the mean time, teaching students about what she has so much passion for keeps her on her toes and loving life.
